Some assembly required!

A Christmas gift in the works for Mr. Curmudgeon. More items on the way, but here is what we have for now. My goal is to have a SHTF one day "gotta go now bag".

More "stuff" is on the way. Many thanks to my friends in Texas that gave me the idea (AND video) for this.

So anyone else have ideas for a one day bug out bag?

    1. Thanks Brigid! I did not come up with it. Credit where credit is due, but I assume they would not like the shout out.

  2. I'd suggest having some 550 cord, a small folding saw

some clif bars, granola bars or crackers, and one or two water filter straws

  3. Here's a wink and a nod to ya! For everyone else, look at the vid for a Liberty bottle cap harness technique. Sweet!

  4. While I appreciate the theory of a bug out bag I've never found one into which I could fit all 3 cats.:-)

  5. I agree with the paracord... and a light-weight poncho is also handy... and a Sharpie medium-point marker... it can mark on skin, paper, glass, or anything you need to leave a message on...
