Networks. And Stuff.

So after dealing with a network all week that was less than sweetness and light I sought some cheap therapy tonight.

First grab the LaserDisc from 1982.

Then shove the LaserDisc into a computer. Capture the file. Then grab one of these for the computer

Then shove this to the TV from the PC wireless to the PS3. Th audio holds up well, video not so much.

That works!

I think this is cheaper than therapy!

  2. It's great when a 'great idea' actually works. I still have a large valise full of patch cords for linking various components, even though many of those connections are rarely see anymore. Because you never know!

    Good work, sir.

  3. Okay, so you lost me at "shove", but I'm technically challenged that way. :-D Glad you found some relief.

  4. Ha Ha.

Love it. I have a stack of laserdiscs in a closet somewhere, even a player in a box as well.
Once we get moved, I'm going to have to see if I can get that thing hooked up somehow.
