So Yeah This!

Not your normal sunset. Provided by a friend.

I can't thank him enough to be able to take this picture. It's been a LONG time since I have been in the right seat of a 172. Yes, you can change the avionics stack and back then we had seat belts only. However much remains the same.

Then we get to this. Night touch and go. I have no fear although my friend gives me the speech before going up: "If you feel sick, look at the horizon, the things on the floor are not footrests".

Dude. I know the things on the floor are the rudder pedals. I even pre flighted the pitot tube for obstructions and verified the stall warning indicator was the same. You did too. Some things still stick after oh, 30 plus years ago. So he tries this.

A very good pilot! I had no reservations going up with him.

Can't wait to do that again!

  2. Cool! I've spent some of the best minutes of my life hanging out the window of a high-wing Cessna. :)

  3. And without oncoming traffic and silly things like roads he's not nearly as terrifying in the air as he is on the ground!

    Good pics!
