But Ma, it followed me home!
(Click to enbiggen!) And the answer for this one is yes I can keep it ! Winchester Model 94 Classic. 30-30. Based on my research it was made in 1967. Not in bad shape either!
I've wanted a lever action since the days of Roy Rogers and have gotten about everything but. How much?
ReplyDeleteBrock, a Gentleman never tells :). Suffice to say that the transaction was mutually beneficial for all parties involved.
ReplyDeleteYou don't see wood like that on a production gun anymore. Very good find!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rifle. pardon, I drooled.
ReplyDeleteBrock, If I misinterpreted your comment I apologize. The rifle is not for sale.
ReplyDeleteDB- Thanks! I was lucky to stumble upon it.
kx59- Thanks! It really is a good looking rifle!
Oh so pretty! I want one of those to follow me home, too. But that only seems to happen for me with cats and dogs.
ReplyDeleteNiiiice!
ReplyDeleteOh, and PH...just wait until next week-end. Gun show in Frederick. Come on along. Things always seem to follow me home from these places.
Dang, has that thing ever been shot??? It's in great shape compared to mine!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful gun. I love the look of a lever-gun. I have a great Winchester in .30-30 but definitely not that pretty.
ReplyDeletePH- If you go to the gun show with ML, you will have fun guaranteed! And thanks! I was in the right place at the right time on this one!
ReplyDeleteML- Thanks!
NFO- Aside from some slight surface rust, it appears to have been handled much, shot little. A problem I am looking to correct!
45er- Thanks!
Gopher it :-)
ReplyDeleteNFO- It's soaking in it even as we speak! Shoot it Saturday.
