Late Monday afternoon a CPCC registrant was the victim of a robbery in the Harper Campus parking lot. The suspect – a black male with dreadlocks, a dark blue or black t-shirt, blue jean shorts and boots – took the registrant’s personal property. No weapon was used in this incident and the registrant suffered minor injuries. The College is working closely with the authorities on this investigation.
The safety and security of our students and staff are top priorities at CPCC. Please keep your safety in mind as you go to your vehicle on campus. You know this one is tough. On one hand I could see where you would want to carry a firearm on campus for protection. On the other hand wouldnt that be asking for the students as well to carry their own firearms.
