That Was FUN!
So I actually had some quality time with some 1911's. Two Commanders pushing 30 years old and a new M45. The 1911 has detractors, but IMHO, they are hard to beat.
As a bonus they are fun to shoot as well! Even more so with good friends.
That reminds me: I need to get my sorry carcass to the range.
