I use it a lot when asked but I say to anyone that does so this: "The largest handgun you can conceal and carry comfortably all day in the largest caliber you can shoot well."
For a dear person to me it is this:
Smith and Wesson Model 30-1 in .32 long. She is good with it!
Now a greater challenge to defend her life is here. No tools we have at our disposal are useful in this case. No training to be had. This is the part that is the hardest to deal with. Breast cancer and the double mastectomy is scheduled for tomorrow.
I hope you will send your prayers, well wishes, good thoughts, whatever you do in these matters on her behalf.
I will give her another reason to come through this:
If she finds out I put this picture on the interwebz, she will do everything in her power to come through this and kill me =)
Well, on the bright side, you gave her even more desire to pull through. Kidding aside, I pray for the best outcome, recovery, and a restored spirit. Thanks for keeping up a great blog. I enjoy it thouroughly.
ReplyDeleteThank You and welcome! I have thought many times of giving this up. That means much.
DeletePrayers, thoughts, and good wishes sent your way for a successful operation and a quick recovery.

DeleteYou do live dangerously, but I understand the motivation and approve. You can hide here later if you need to, but for now, you, she and the rest of your family will be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Murph!
DeleteI hope the surgery goes well and your lady makes a complete recovery. What happens to you after she recovers - well, you brought that on yourself, but I'm sure she will go easy on you. :^)
ReplyDeleteCancer sucks - I hope she kicks its butt good !
Thanks!
DeleteAnd my prayers as well.
ReplyDeleteWe'll keep your mom in our thoughts and prayers today Kelly. As for the photo . . . you might want to work on your "use of cover" drills . . . just sayin' . . .
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteOh, yes, prayers.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'd kill you, too.
