Charline has a roomie!

Charline has a roomie, an older sister! An M1 Carbine. Looks like this on first blush.

 








































First things first. Here is the wood after cleaning with Oil Soap. 

I think her name will be Suzi! Inland manufactured, barrel dated 1943. Receiver serial matches. The Garand is in good company I think!

    Love them. Had a M-2 in Vietnam which got deposited at the bottom of a well during the evacuation.

    30 carbine got a lot of flack for "no stopping power", but with today's JHP rounds, they're excellent guns for home defense.

    Very nice and I hope you enjoy shooting the little carbine as much as I do. FWIW to you, I put a lot of cast-bullet releoads through mine and find that it isn't fussy about them.

    Also, now you get to spend a lot of money on spare magazines. :)
