Hmm...
So the Colt is shaping up. Magpul furniture and a question for ya. Weapon lights? Yes or no. I have a Crimson Trace foregrip with all the stuff but sorta torn on that. Any suggestions? Or leave it slick?
If its home defense, yeah to the flashlight. Being able to identify your target in the dark is a wise move to me.
Laser on rifle - hmmm. On a handgun, makes more sense for speed. But on a rifle, you probably already have it mounted to shoulder so you are already pointing it where you are aiming.
Rule 4 according to Cooper: BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET
You never shoot at anything until you have positively identified it. You never fire at a shadow, or a sound, or a suspected presence. You shoot only when you know absolutely what you are shooting at and what is beyond it. Seeing that we are morally, legally and financially responsible for everything that comes out of the muzzle, I went with the light.
Have you seen the NY compliant stocks for AR's? Lord have mercy, what silly, hideous things... http://ww4.hdnux.com/photos/21/70/17/4686787/3/628x471.jpg
Looking good as is. Not a fan of VFGs.
ReplyDeleteDoes it ever get dark by you? If yes, then get a light.
ReplyDeleteI tend to recommend Surefire.
If you got it, flaunt it... :-)
