Now a moment of silence for the solid axle
So the 2015 Mustang has been unveiled. WITH independent rear suspension. OK, I'll reserve judgement until I drive one, but in the meantime a moment of silence for the 49 years of solid axle. Here have some 1964, 65 Mustang commercials.
Yeah I did. Its the "right" thing to do. Probably ride and handle better. Does NOT mean I have to like it! I love having Thor's hammer in the back. Flick of the throttle and the right move and bam! Here comes that rear end! =)
But after they've eliminated the solid axle, will Mustang still make it happen?

Oh guaranteed. Mustangs can always be counted on to make money disappear!
DeleteJust one of the many reasons I like you, Keads, you're a purist. :-)

DeleteYou 'knew' it was coming...

Delete"Thor's hammer in the back"... ~snort~ Sorry, that whole thing just sounded dirty...
Deletehiswiserangel, Heh, I looked at this after I posted it and went: "This sounds like some bodice ripping romance book. Stop it."
DeleteI don't care how much horsepower you sent these axles, you could not break them.
That last line sounded like the cover blurb for the bodice ripper.
Delete:-) Darlin', you're on a roll tonight.
Notice that I took care to say "axle" instead of "rear end". I'm trying to be all technical. =)
DeleteDoesn't matter, you tripped the naughty trigger, everything is going to sound naughty now. :-)
DeleteHeresy! :)
