From the Bench

A Springfield Repeater, Savage Model 29B .22 S, L, LR pump action rifle. It's in rough shape. We shall see how it goes. 


Wish me luck! This rifle is not worth a great deal monetarily but to a friend of mine and his Father it does mean much.

      Thanks Shepard! Sadly, that pic of the side was AFTER 2 days of soaking in breakfree and rubbing with 000 steel wool. I will not reblue or go really invasive. They said not to spend a great deal of time on it, but still. I cannot do anything less than make sure it works! It tasks me and I shall have it!
