While looking at this guy's channel I noted a tutorial on how he does the effects. It's right here:
So guess what? How can I introduce the concept of slide action and some recoil to new shooters without going live fire? Ta DA! Airsoft gas blowback 1911 is on the way for this weekend! As it shoots 6mm plastic pellets, I might be able to get one of these in the muzzle and practice rapid fire with the laser target!
Had I known you were looking for a gbb airsoft pistol, I could have let you use mine. 1911 gbb that uses propane. Nice little pistol for simulating blowback.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer John, but I would not want yours to be handled all day. I saw the propane ones, how does that work over CO2? How do you get gas back into it?
DeleteWOW.. I watched his how to video... you gotta be kidding me. That was amazing, he is very talented. Which leads me to say "Believe nothing you see nowadays".
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
You can do all of that. It is just time consuming and this guy is doing it on commercially available software and hardware. Oh, I can't dismiss his talent either. I COULD do it but it would take me three times as long.
DeleteIf you make a video like that Keads I am so in. I can be random headshot bad guy number 6. I'm so right for the part! Did I mention I have an actual screen credit? I was cut or course (in more ways than one) but still.
ReplyDeleteSix, LOL! I would love to have the time to try some of this out, I have all of the software but very little time for such right now.
DeleteYeah, what Pissed said! That guy has some talent. I could do that but it would take me like a week, full time, to get 2 seconds of video.
ReplyDeleteOk. I lied. I can touch type. [hangs head]
Very, very cool.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Hope you are going to have fun this weekend!
DeleteHe does a good job with it, and his explanations are excellent!
ReplyDeleteYeah he does, but the thing for me was finding the Airsoft blowback stuff for new shooters! Get home safe NFO!
DeleteFreddie is an after-effects MASTER.
