  1. Yeah, wouldn't a time machine be just the thing....Sad thing is, things that were out of my reach in the 70s are still out of my reach now...

  2. Those prices read like science fiction, these days. Dang it.

  3. We talk of how the poorest in America are still better off than anywhere else in the world. Perhaps a citizen of the USA thinks nothing of a $5 cuppa coffee or cheeseburger or Happy Meal. Yet O Lordy, them gun prices of yesteryear. As if unobtainium. Crikey, compadres. Simpy forego the pleasure of today so you may afford the rifle of your want. Nay, it is your duty as citizen, of the militia. Get off your fat ass and double down. Signed/ no sympathy.

  4. I guess my clicker done busted. I cannot see the prices of said book. However, having come of age not too much later than the subject year, I can imagine what the prices are.

With that said, I would say that I could find a good share of that price found in the parking lot of a Wal Mart. I've been unemployed since 2010 (not my preference) and I take nothing of handouts or SS or disability, Nothing...zero. Yet in the past 3 years I have been able to purchase a new XD, new 10/22 carbine, and CMP M1 Garand. Plus ammo. What is your excuse fat body?
