So while watching the precursor to "COPS" tonight I stumble across this:
Sorry for the quality of the photo. It was taken from a still of "Dragnet 1970" from the TV. I know the Caddy on the left was a '67 or so. There is a De Ville convertible here that is pretty close to that. Can anyone tell me about the Dodge on the right?
Not a clue.....
ReplyDeleteMy entire Mopar Experience is in two cars.
The 1969 Dodge Charger R/T I received for a high-school graduation present, and a 1967 Plymouth Valiant with a 273 and four speed trans a friend "gifted" me for putting in the stereo and a set of gauges in his new 1976 VW Rabbit.
The Valiant had so many miles on it, and burned so much oil, that I never changed the oil. Every 3000 miles or so I'd put a new filter on it, bur at 600 miles/quart, I figured it was getting "refreshed" just by the addition of so much new oil!
LOL! I've had cars like that!
