So at the range today my friend whips this out:
Sorry about the crappy iThing photo, but it's a Smith and Wesson Model 622. This .22LR was made from 1989-1996. Single action stainless alloy with 10 round magazine. A great little pistol! This one seems to be from the first of the run with a mfg date of 1990.
She appears pristine.
ReplyDeleteYes it is!
Deleteis the date correct?
ReplyDeleteAccording to my Standard Catalog of S&W yes.
DeleteI don't think I've ever seen one! Neat!!! How did it shoot?
ReplyDeleteLike sweetness and light!
DeleteI've got the blued version, the 422 - and NFO, I'll be bringing it this weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteCool!
DeleteI have one of those! AAMOF, it's on the header pic on my blog.
ReplyDeleteOne of the cool things is that the design is ready set for a suppressor. The barrel nut screws off, an adapter is screwed on, and the sights are high enough to see right over the can.
Ha, thanks for that Sir!
