YES!

So after lamenting the state of affairs on something as trivial as concurs correct wiper arms yesterday I take a road trip north. To the only place on the planet allowed to have pictures of me looking like this hanging around.

There was a method in my madness. I seemed to remember oh, 25+ years ago buying more than the required two blades to restore the 1966 Mustang. Lucky for me they have not been moved in the basement and I went right to them.

Ding, ding, ding! I could probably ebay these puppies (4) for a handsome price for the trailer queen show car people. I will not. Oh, I had a wonderful supper too to boot!

  4. Am I guessing correctly that the spare wipers were at your parents' house? Keeping spares is good, but you are so lucky that they did not get moved or sold. If you have other spare parts, it might be wise to move them to your house.

If I had left something like that behind at mom's house, she would have misplaced it; it would still be there someplace, but only God would know the exact location. If left at my father's house he would have sold it on EBay for a pretty penny. And yes, they are divorced; any guesses why?

  5. See, this is why it's always a bad idea to clean out the garage, or the basement. (we don't have those down here, but I understand the concept)
