First World Problem
So I turn the 1971 Mustang over today in preparation for a car show at work Thursday. On the plus side, the Holley electric choke seems to be working for once. "Mary" has always been cold natured and a choke that works is a blessing!
On the other hand it seems that working these controls is less than optimal now.
That is a stock photo from the Interwebz. My controls still have the felt covering the levers. I could not get full heat to the floor vents. Sigh.... A vacuum motor is stuck or dry rotted. Of course, THIS motor is not readily accessible.
Number 7 on the hit parade up there!

If You Can Help!
I would truly appreciate it. I personally know several women that have been through this. Breast Cancer. Chemo. Double Mastectomy. Reconstruction.
The fund raising event is here. I don't ask for much here. When I do I ask for very little. If you can give 5 bucks I would really be grateful. The person that is running this is retired LEO and a fellow instructor. Yes, he is in direct competition with me for students, but he and I do not care when it comes to these matters.
I will be there to be a gopher, admin, run around, anything needed. I owe the Women that I know that went through this at least this much. They are both special to me and both live far away from here. This is the least I can do for them as they both enrich my life now. They by any definition should be dead now yet they are not!

According to the new thingy over at Colt's Website, this was made in 1953. I do not have a Historian letter on it. Yet. I hope to shoot it this weekend. I have had it for a year and have not done so! AAR to follow. Even with my feeble shooting skills!

M-65 Field Jacket
Back in the day I was a Civil Air Patrol Cadet. We dressed out in pretty much the same as the military. It is getting cold here tonight and I think the accuguessers are saying the high here tomorrow will be 32F.
Last year my Mother dug this out and gave it to me.
It appears to be an M-1965 field jacket made in 1972 based on the contract number above. It still fits even though its been around since the *cough* mid 70's. I have looked around on the Interwebz and it seems prudent to NOT wear this jacket tomorrow
So be it. It's a safe queen jacket. Never thought I would have one of those.

Classroom Upgrade!
The classroom at Elite Training Academy (warning! autoplay video with audio there) has been upgraded with a big honking TV. This makes things much more interesting and engaging for students IMHO.
